Sapporo Samurai, founded in the small swiss town of Zofingen is creating a new dynasty for the revival of the leather and jeans riffs, a foundation that is not only based on sake. Vintage rock with hot running amplifiers, songs that approach the wisdom of that time in a new way.

Started by frontman Stephan Theis in the summer of 2018, the aim of this band was to bring new energy to the charms of the well known bands out of the 1970s era. During a trip to the city of sapporo and due to his appreciation for japan he found the bands name Sapporo Samurai. Completed by Marco Marinelli on drums and Marc Wermelinger on bass, the trio shows the mental power of the Japanese fighters, with sharp riffs that stand up to a katana and a thundering interplay between bass and drums that triggers a real tremor.
